For international travel

We are pleased that Qantas is offering discounted fares for signatories traveling to the PRI in Person conference. The number of discount fares available is limited and will be given on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.

There are discounts for delegates traveling from overseas and booking online with our unique reference number. These fares are based on retail fares which are then discounted for Conference attendees. These discounts may apply to Economy and Business and for Qantas operated flights on the Qantas network. The conditions of travel will be the same as those of the actual retail fare, the levels are subject to availability and seasonality and for full details you will need to contact your nearest Qantas office as per the Global Qantas contact list.

When making contact you should quote conference details and the fare:

Reference PRGS0608.

Book early for the best available discount and to avoid disappointment.

Australia has strict laws regarding good brought into the country. Business travelers may need to obtain permits for commercial goods or samples, depending on the nature of the goods. Quarantine and wildlife regulations may apply to certain goods. All travelers must declare amounts of AUD$10,000 or more in foreign or Australian currency [notes and coins] they take into or out of Australia.

Transport to and from the City from Airport

Airport Shuttle Bus

The Sydney Airporter charges AUD$12.00 from Sydney International Airport to central Sydney and will drop off at hotels in the Central Business District and Darling Harbour. The trip takes about 25 minutes, longer in heavy traffic conditions.

Taxi

Each terminal has its own sheltered taxi rank with supervisors on hand in peak hours to ensure a smooth flow of taxis for travelers. It costs about AUD$25.00 - AUD$30.00 and takes about 20 minutes for a taxi from the airport to the heart of the city. Please note that passengers pay for any bridge or road tolls in addition to the taxi fare. An airport toll of AUD$2.50 also applies. Catch a taxi directly outside the airport doors at any terminal. As throughout Australia, tipping is appreciated, but is not required.

Train

There is a railway link from the airport to Central Station. The single adult fare from the Sydney International Airport to Sydney Central station is AUD$13.80. The trip to Central takes approximately 10-15 minutes.
