Executive team

  • James Gifford

    Dr James Gifford, Executive Director

    James Gifford is Executive Director of the PRI and has been guiding the initiative since its inception in November 2003. He worked with UNEP FI and the UN Global Compact leading the PRI drafting process, and after the launch and the establishment of the Secretariat in 2006, became its first Executive Director. He has a PhD from the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Sydney on the effectiveness of shareholder engagement in improving corporate environmental, social and corporate governance performance and is an Honorary Research Fellow in the School of Management at the University of St Andrews. He has a background in IT and environmental protection. James has degrees in Commerce and Law from the University of Queensland, and a Master's of Environment Management from the University of New South Wales. He was named in 2010 by the World Economic Forum as one of 200 Young Global Leaders.

    Fiona Reynolds, Managing Director

    Fiona Reynolds joined the PRI as Managing Director in February, 2013. In this newly created role, she is responsible for the organisational development and growth of the PRI. Prior to joining the PRI Fiona was the Chief Executive Officer at the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees (“AIST”) for 6 years. Fiona has more than 16 years’ experience in the pension sector and has played a role in advocating pension policy change on behalf of working Australians. Fiona has formerly been a Director of AUSfund, Industry Funds Credit Control, and the National Network of Women in Super. Fiona is also on the Board of Australia for UNHCR – United Nations High Commission for Refugees. In September 2012 she was named by the Australian Financial Review as one of Australia's top 100 women of influence for her work in public policy. Fiona has a range of superannuation qualifications and a Grad.Dip in Public Policy.

    Mark Blair, Director of Operations and Finance

    Mark joined PRI as Director of Operations and Finance in July 2010. For many years Mark was Chief Finance Officer of General Atlantic (the business arm of the Atlantic Philanthropies) in the UK and also CEO of a luxury goods division within the group. Mark began his professional career as an Investment Analyst in the City before becoming a Chartered Management Accountant. He has since combined several international Managing and Finance Director roles, predominantly in fashion, leisure, retail and online. Mark is involved with Child's i Foundation, a charity dealing with baby abandonment in Uganda, which was set up in 2009.

  • Rob Lake

    Rob Lake, Director of Responsible Investment

    Rob Lake joined PRI in May 2011. He is responsible for PRI’s work to provide support for signatories on the practical integration of ESG across asset classes; collaborative engagement; strategic research; public policy work; and the PRI Academic Network. Before joining PRI Rob was Head of Sustainability and Governance at APG Asset Management in the Netherlands, where he led a team of eight ESG specialists and was responsible for integrating ESG factors in all asset classes at a strategic policy level across the portfolio. Rob is a member of the Strategy Council for the Norwegian Government Pension Fund – Global; the Working Group of the International Integrated Reporting Committee; the Advisory Council of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board; and the Advisory Group to the Chair in Socially Responsible Investment at the Ecole Polytechnique, Paris, and the University of Toulouse.

  • Christopher Sperling

    Christopher Sperling, Executive Assistant

    Christopher Sperling provides high level support to the Executive Director, PRI Association Board and PRI Advisory Council. Christopher holds an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London and a BA in History of Art from the School of Oriental and African Studies and University College London.

    Gavin Power, Deputy Director, UN Global Compact

    Gavin Power is Deputy Director of the UN Global Compact. Since 2002, Mr. Power has played a key role in the evolution and growth of the UN Global Compact, which is today the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative with over 10,000 business participants and stakeholders from more than 140 countries. Mr. Power has led the development of a range of strategic initiatives on behalf of the UN Secretary-General and the UN Global Compact – including the Principles for Responsible Investment; the Blueprint for Sustainability Leadership; Sustainable Stock Exchanges; the CEO Water Mandate; and the Social Enterprise-Impact Investing Framework for Action. Mr. Power also led the development, in 2004, of the UN Global Compact’s Who Cares Wins program, a global policy initiative focused on the integration of environmental, social and governance issues into investment analysis and asset management. Mr Power is based at UN Headquarters in New York.

Signatory relations and outreach

  • Indira Abraham

    Indira Abraham, Signatory Relations Manager

    In her cross-cutting role as Signatory Relations Manager, Indira is a key contact person in handling relations between signatories and the PRI. She is primarily responsible for driving the engagement of signatories in the various work streams, be it at the early stages of dealing with responsible investment or for more advanced practitioners. She ensures that the PRI delivers demonstrable value in supporting its broad and diverse signatory base. Prior to joining the PRI in February 2012, Indira worked with a Geneva-based Asset Manager for 3 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) from the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne in Switzerland and a Master of Letters (MLitt) in Marketing with a concentration in Corporate Responsibility, Sustainability and Accountability from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. She undertook her dissertation on the concept of business ecosystems in conjunction with the PRI.

  • Maria Lettini

    Maria Lettini, Head of Signatory Relations and Outreach

    Maria joined the PRI in September of 2011 as Global Outreach Manager and is responsible for the recruitment of new PRI signatories worldwide. She has over fifteen years experience in business and finance. Maria spent eight years working in Institutional Equity Sales at J.P. Morgan and Deutsche Bank, based in both US and Europe. Maria has a Master of Arts in Environment, Politics and Globalization from King's College London and a Bachelor of Arts in International Business and Latin American Studies from San Diego State University.

  • Katherine Pruski

    Katherine Pruski, Membership Manager

    Katherine joined the PRI in February 2011. In her role as Membership Manager she manages the PRI signatory base including sign up, invoicing and renewal processes. Prior to the PRI Katherine worked on the membership team at Pilotlight, a UK-based charity, and before that the Welsh Assembly Government on a support programme for business start-ups. She has a BSc Econ in Sociology from Cardiff University.

Implementation support

  • Archie Beeching

    Archie Beeching, Implementation Support Manager

    Archie Beeching joined the PRI in January 2012 as part of the Implementation Support team. He is responsible for managing the fixed income and infrastructure work streams. This involves guiding steering committee and working group activities, reaching out to new and potential signatories and developing implementation tools with work stream participants. Archie has previous experience working in research and reporting roles for a leading Australian CSR consultant (Net Balance) and as an ESG research and engagement specialist (Regnan). In these roles he produced reports on sustainability within corporate supply chains and the relationship between human rights and investment. Archie holds a Master's of Environmental Management from the University of New South Wales. Before joining the responsible investment industry, he worked in account management and business development in the IT industry. Archie also holds a Master's in Spanish Literature from Edinburgh University.

  • Katie Beith

    Katie Beith, Head of Implementation Support

    Katie joined PRI in October 2010 as the Head of Implementation Support. Katie brings over 12 years of relevant work experience to PRI. During 2009 and 2010, Katie was based in Sydney working on a project to build and develop an online education and training programme for responsible investment. The RI Academy launched in September 2010. Between 2000 and 2008, Katie worked for London based Newton Investment Management. Her first 4 years were spent as a trainee fund manager for the Global Multi-Asset team. Her second 4 years were spent as the SRI Officer and member of the Responsible Investment Strategy Group. Katie graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. In 2001, she gained her Investment Management Certificate. Additionally, Katie has trained as a Lead Auditor in Environmental Management Systems (2009).

  • Natasha Buckley

    Natasha Buckley, Implementation Support Assistant

    Natasha Buckley joined the PRI in August 2011. She has an MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and a BA in History from University College London. She supports the Implementation Support team and runs the Mentoring Programme.

  • Fong Yee Chan

    Fong Yee Chan, Implementation Support Manager

    Fong Yee Chan manages the private equity and small and resource constrained work streams at PRI. Prior to joining PRI, Fong Yee was a consultant at Accenture and Deloitte, focused on strategy and systems implementation projects in the supply chain and utilities industries. Fong Yee has also worked at Responsible Research in Singapore as a research analyst on the Asia Sustainability Rating project, a benchmarking tool enabling comparison of the management of ESG issues by Asian companies. She holds a MSc with Distinction in Environment and Sustainable Development from University College London, and a BSc Joint Major in Business Administration and Computer Science from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada.

  • Emilie Goodall

    Emilie Goodall, Head of Environmental and Social Themed Investing

    Emilie Goodall joined in July 2011 as Project Manager for the Principles for Investors in Inclusive Finance (PIIF), launched January 2011. She is responsible for developing the work stream, recruiting signatories and supporting them in their implementation of the Principles. Previously, she was Senior Investment Manager at CAF Venturesome, a social investment fund. She managed debt and equity-like investments in nonprofits, and was engaged in research and policy work promoting the growth of the UK impact investing market. Prior to that, Emilie worked as researcher and consultant at New Philanthropy Capital (NPC), a consultancy and think tank engaged in nonprofit analysis and the promotion of funder effectiveness. She holds an MA in Philosophy and French from the University of Oxford and qualifications in Financial Management and Development Management.

  • Karin Malmberg

    Karin Malmberg, Implementation Support Manager

    Karin Malmberg joined the PRI in February 2010 as project manager in the Implementation Support team. She holds an MSc from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS). Her thesis explored the potential of CSR for international development. Karin also studied at L’Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Paris and at the University of Birmingham, where she obtained a BA in Political Science and International Relations. Before joining the PRI, Karin worked as a researcher, including during an internship with EIRIS.

  • Danielle Chesebrough

    Danielle Chesebrough, Manager of Investor Engagement with the UN Global Compact

    Danielle Chesebrough is the Manager of Investor Engagement with the UN Global Compact and has been working in this role since May 2011. Her role includes developing, coordinating and facilitating investor engagements, with a focus on UN Global Compact principles and initiatives. Danielle will also be assisting in the coordination of the Sustainable Stock Exchanges initiative that addresses the various ways in which stock exchanges can promote sustainable business practices. Previously, Danielle worked in ESG client services as MSCI. Prior to joining the client services team, she conducted ESG analysis and led engagements with publicly traded healthcare, food and beverage, and consumer products companies. Danielle also worked with the Global Sanctions team, specializing in Sudan. This experience gives her valuable understanding of the concerns and opportunities facing companies, policy makers, and investors. Danielle has a BA in Political Science from Clemson University and a Masters of Social Work, with a focus on Policy and International Studies from the University of Connecticut.

  • Danielle Carreira

    Danielle Carreira, Manager of Investor Engagements, Environmental issues

    Danielle’s role includes developing and facilitating investor engagements with companies and policy makers on issues including water, climate change and palm oil. Prior to joining the PRI Danielle worked as an ESG Consultant at SRI Connect and she was responsible for the management of the training program, including the preparation of the training material as well as the delivery of job role focused training sessions. Previously Danielle worked as an ESG Analyst at the FTSE Group where her main responsibilities was to engage with global companies around the environmental, social and governance criteria employed by the FTSE4Good Index series. She has an MA in International Finance from the Westminster Business School and a BSc in Economic Sciences from the Centro Universitario Newton Paiva in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

  • Erin Court

    Erin Court, Manager of Investor Engagements, Social Issues

    Erin joined the PRI in May 2012. She is responsible for developing and coordinating institutional investors' shareholder engagement strategies with companies on social issues. Previously, Erin was a political analyst/strategist at Cyrte Investments in the Netherlands, where she worked on the development of thematic investment ideas for a portfolio of listed and private equity holdings in Latin America, Africa and developed markets. Prior to this, Erin was as a CSR pilot project coordinator for Microsoft India, where she led the planning and execution of stakeholder mapping, baseline surveys and focus group studies in rural India. Erin also worked for four years at the Canadian Programme on Genomics and Global Health, where she published on the need to manage biotechnology's environmental and regulatory risks in order to reap its commercial and societal benefits in developing countries. Erin holds a PhD in Politics (Oxford), MPhil in International Development (Oxford) and BA in Bioethics (University of Toronto).

  • Athanasia Karananou

    Athanasia Karananou, Manager of Investor Engagements, Corporate Governance

    Athanasia Karananou joined the PRI in October 2011. Her role includes developing, coordinating and facilitating investor engagements, with a focus on corporate governance issues. Previously Athanasia worked as a corporate governance analyst at HSBC Global Asset Management, where she was responsible for engagement with portfolio companies on corporate governance issues, as well as proxy voting and governance analysis of FTSE All-Share companies. Prior to this Athanasia was a senior researcher at PIRC, where she led a research team focusing on corporate governance analysis of emerging markets and sub-index companies. Her experience includes developing best practice principles, shareholder voting guidelines and market overviews for several emerging markets. Athanasia has an MSc in European Policy and Management, with a focus on European Politics and Corporate Governance (Birkbeck, University of London) and a BA in History (University of Athens).

  • Tetty Lubis

    Atur Tetty Lubis, Clearinghouse Assistant

    Prior to joining the PRI, Atur Tetty Lubis worked as a Corporate Secretary Staff at the Indonesian Port in Surabaya, where she was involved in the initiation and implementation of corporate governance principles within the organization, handled international relations and regularly represented the company at international forums on shipping and port management. She has a LLM in Commercial and Maritime Law from University College London (2010) under Chevening Award and an MBA in Marketing from Monash University (2006), Australia. Upon the completion of the LLM course, Tetty joined the International Maritime Organization's internship program in London for two months. She also actively gives lectures on law and business for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Jakarta.

  • Valeria Piani

    Valeria Piani, Head of Investor Engagements

    Valeria Piani joined the PRI Initiative in June 2008. Her role is coordinating and supervising the PRI Engagement Clearinghouse activities to support institutional investors' campaigns with investee companies and policy makers on environmental, social and governance (ESG) topics. Before joining PRI, Valeria worked for three years in Italy as consultant on corporate communications and corporate social responsibility for multinational companies. In 2007, she was awarded the United Nations Fellowship Programme to work in international development cooperation for the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the United Nations Development Programme in Argentina. Valeria graduated in International Public Administration and Development at the Luigi Bocconi Business School of Milan. She also completed a Master of Arts in CSR at the University of Nottingham Business School with a dissertation on the effectiveness of shareholders’ collaborative engagement activities with companies on ESG issues.

  • Olivia Watson

    Olivia Watson, Manager, Environmental Engagements

    Olivia Watson is the Manager of Environmental Engagements at the PRI. Her role includes developing and facilitating investor engagements with companies and policy makers on issues including water, climate change and palm oil. Prior to joining the PRI Olivia worked as a corporate responsibility consultant, advising multinational companies on sustainability strategy, stakeholder engagement, sustainability reporting and climate change. Previously Olivia worked as a research analyst at PIRC, where she analysed companies' ESG performance and contributed to several engagement projects on climate change risks and opportunities. She has an MSc in Environmental Policy and Regulation from the London School of Economics and a BA in Biology from Bates College in Maine, USA.

  • Felicitas Weber

    Felicitas Weber, Clearinghouse Assistant

    Felicitas Weber has joined the PRI in April 2011. Her role is to facilitate the work of the Clearinghouse team and to co-ordinate the weekly webinars. Prior to joining the PRI, Felicitas has been working as development assistant for the charities Teach First and Historic Royal Palaces. She holds a Master in Political Science, Philosophy and Economics from Universität Leipzig and a Certificate of Political Studies from Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Rennes.

Reporting and assessment

  • Joslyn Chittilapally

    Joslyn Chittilapally, Reporting and Assessment Officer

    Joslyn joined PRI as Reporting and Assessment Officer in October 2011. Prior to PRI, Joslyn worked as corporate governance research assistant at PIRC Ltd – researching mainly FTSE companies on ESG issues, engaging with company secretaries and directors and recommending proxy voting suggestions to institutional investors. She has also worked as a research intern for EIRIS on water-related issues. She holds an MSc in Sustainability – Business, Environment and CSR (University of Leeds) and BA in Economics (St. Xavier's College, Mumbai). Her professional and academic interests lie in CSR in the extractive industry, mainstreaming RI and emerging markets.

  • Kristofer Dreiman

    Kristofer Dreiman, Project Manager

    Prior to joining the PRI, Kristofer Dreinman worked as a CSR consultant, and has advised companies on the Global Reporting Initiative. He has also worked in academia at universities and managed a sustainable finance project with GlobalFOCUS. Kristofer holds an MSc degree in Industrial Management from the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm. His thesis explored how institutional investors can influence corporate responsibility through engagement and dialogue. He also holds a BMSc in Public Health with a focus on sustainable development from the Karolinska Institute.

  • Alex-Faulkner

    Alex Faulkner, Reporting and Assessment Officer

    Alex Faulkner joined the PRI in October 2011 as a Reporting and Assessment Officer. He has an MSc from UWE and completed his undergraduate degree in Biodiversity from The University of Kent. Prior to joining the PRI Alex worked as an intern on the Carbon Action Initiative at the Carbon Disclosure Project. Alex has over 5 years' experience as a consultant in the Oil & Gas sector working for multi-national clients including Shell, BP and Chevron advising them on a number of issues including site acquisition, due diligence and remediation. Alex has also worked as a researcher at EIRIS ranking companies for the BITC index.

  • Hitender Gujral

    Hitender Gujral, Reporting and Assessment Officer

    Hitender Gujral joined PRI in November 2010 as a Reporting and Assessment Officer. He has completed his MBA with Distinction from Nottingham University Business School in December 2010 and has specialised in Corporate Social Responsibility. During the course, he worked as a MBA summer intern at Schroders PLC and was responsible for developing a sustainability management framework for Schroder Property team. After successfully completing the Schroders internship, he worked as a Climate Change Intern at EIRIS for six weeks. The role involved researching on climate change initiatives undertaken by "high risk" companies such as cement production and electricity generation companies. Prior to pursuing the MBA course, he has worked in the Information Technology industry for three years with big IT corporates such as Wipro Technologies and Tata Consultancy Services as a Software Developer/Engineer. His role focused mainly on the development and maintenance of software applications for Banking, Insurance and Financial Services clients. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree (2006) specialising in Telecommunications from VTU, India.

  • Lorenzo Saà

    Lorenzo Saà, Head of Reporting and Assessment

    Lorenzo Saà manages the PRI's annual signatories' Reporting and Assessment. He is responsible for setting the reporting framework in place for both transparency and evaluation purposes. Prior to joining the PRI, between 2004-2009, as a project manager in UniCredit Group, he oversaw microfinance initiatives and advised on responsible investments. Before this Lorenzo specialized in assessments and evaluations both as an independent consultant for development organizations such as the World Bank and IFAD as well as a senior financial analyst at MicroRate, a dedicated rating agency for microfinance institutions. Lorenzo started his career in 1996 as an economic analyst at Arthur Andersen. He obtained his BA in Business and Economics in Università Cattolica, Milan and his joint MBA and Master in International Public Policy at SDA Bocconi, Milan and at SAIS - Johns Hopkins, Washington DC.

  • Titia Sjenitzer

    Titia Sjenitzer, Reporting and Assessment Manager

    As Reporting and Assessment Manager, Titia Sjenitzer manages the PRI's reporting and assessment process. Prior to joining the PRI, Titia worked on sustainability benchmarking of food and beverage companies at Fairfood International. Titia has also contributed to a number of different sustainability initiatives as a freelance researcher and project manager. Titia started her career at Stoas Research developing surveys and benchmarks on higher education performance and consulting on projects regarding life long learning and career guidance. In 2002 Titia completed an MSc in Sociology, specializing in Methodology and Statistics, at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands.

Networks

  • Xolisa Dhlamini

    Xolisa Dhlamini, South Africa Network Manager

    Xolisa joined the PRI as South Africa Network Manager in April 2013. He was previously a Senior Investment Consultant at Independent Actuaries and Consultants, where his primary role was to provide investment intermediary services to institutional clients (Retirement Funds, Medical Schemes and Insurance Companies). He also engaged and trained stakeholders on current investment industry developments, including the progress of fund managers towards adopting principles such as the PRI and the Code for Responsible Investing in South Africa (CRISA). Xolisa has held positions at Absa and Alexander Forbes Asset Consultants. Xolisa holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Business Finance from the University of the Witwatersrand, and a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in Business Management from the University of South Africa. He has recently completed a Master of Philosophy in Development Finance at the University Of Cape Town Graduate School Of Business.

  • Pedro Galoppi

    Pedro Paulo de Siqueira Galoppi, Brazil Network Manager

    Pedro is based in São Paulo, Brazil and joined the PRI to promote and support the network in Brazil. He has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from EAESP – Fundação Getulio Vargas and a Bachelors Degree in Law from Pontifíca Universidade Católica de São Paulo. Pedro has experience in project management and corporate finance deals in the Brazilian oil and gas sector as well as in financial reporting, disclosure and regulatory compliance processes. He has worked for a number of years in the Brazilian Development Bank, the Central Bank of Brazil, ABN Amro Bank and Rabobank.

  • Dr Michiyo Morisawa

    Dr Michiyo Morisawa, Japan Network Director

    Dr Michiyo Morisawa works part-time leading the PRI signatory network in Japan and is Head of the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) Japan office, guiding the initiative since CDP's global expansion in 2006. Dr Morisawa has been a lead author of the CDP Japan report. She has a PhD in Environment from Tokyo University. She is also a research member of the Hosei University for Low Carbon Policy of Local Government under the project of the Japanese Ministry of Environment. She has prior experience in international business development of financial services (amongst others at Citibank) for reducing settlement risk.

    Karin Soellner, Germany Network Manager

    Karin Soellner joined the PRI in April 2011 heading up the German Network. She is located in Munich and works on a part-time basis. Prior to working with the PRI, she gained experience in various countries being employed by Generali, Citibank, Swiss Re, Marsh & McLennan and Munich Re. The focus during her career was on client management in combination with financial services in its entirety. She holds a Masters in Economics and various degrees in finance and risk management.

  • YuliaSofronova

    Yulia Sofronova, Networks Project Officer

    Yulia interacts with teams located in the PRI Secretariat in London and Network Managers located overseas, to support signatories’ implementation of the Principles across different countries. Yulia is responsible for acting as the first point of call for Signatories located in Europe (excluding Germany) and Nordic Europe to support investors initiatives to further develop Responsible Investment in those locations.

  • Maria Tinelli

    Maria Laura Tinelli, Head of Networks

    Maria Laura Tinelli joined PRI in April 2012 as Head of Networks. She worked for many years in the insurance sector in Europe and Latin America, then moving into International Development, managing large multinational sustainable development projects across Latin America, South East Asia and Africa. She has an MSc in Development Studies from the University of London, School of Oriental and African Studies, and a degree in International Relations from the University of Belgrano in Argentina. She currently manages the work and development of Networks across 7 countries

Academic network

  • Natalie Beinisch

    Natalie Beinisch, Academic Network Manager

    Natalie Beinisch coordinates the activities of the PRI Academic Network. She is also a PhD Candidate at the London School of Economics. Her research addresses company participation in voluntary regulatory systems in the toy and chocolate industries. Prior to joining the PRI in April 2010, Natalie managed the faculty network at Duke Corporate Education, a global learning and development company. She holds a BA from McGill University and an MSc from the London School of Economics. When not consumed by work or studies, she can be easily spotted running along the River Thames.

  • Robert Harding

    Robert Harding, Academic Network Manager

    Robert Harding manages the activities of the PRI Academic Network. Before joining the PRI he was a Senior Research Associate at the University of Cambridge, specialising in South Indian archaeology. He also worked for five years in an educational consultancy specialising in institutional collaborations. He has a BA and MA from the University of Melbourne, an MA from the School of Oriental and African Studies (London) and a Ph.D from Cambridge University.

  • Andreas Hoepner

    Dr Andreas G. F. Hoepner, Academic Fellow

    Andreas has served as the Academic Fellow to the PRI on a part-time basis since September 2009. In this role, he (i) advises on (academic) research related aspects, (ii) organises events or publication supporting research in the field of responsible investment and (iii) more generally attempts to bridge gaps between responsible investment practice and academia. Besides his role within the PRI, Andreas is a Lecturer in Banking and Finance at St Andrews (since February 2009), where he also serves as Deputy Director of the Centre for Responsible Banking and Finance (since November 2011). He received his PhD from St Andrews in June 2010.     Arleta Majoch, Academic Network

    Arleta is a PhD candidate at the University of St Andrews. Her PhD research focuses on the impacts of collaborative shareholder engagement in both ESG and financial terms. Before joining the Academic Network team she has worked with two other teams in the PRI: Reporting and Assessment and the Clearinghouse. She also holds an MA in International Business from the University of St Andrews.

    Aila Mihr, Academic Network

    Aila Mihr is an undergraduate student in Financial Economics at the University of St Andrews. In 2012 she received the University of St Andrews Deans’ List Award for high academic achievements. In addition to her academic studies, she is Environmental Project Manager for St Andrews Student Voluntary Services (SVS). Since 2012 Aila has worked as Research Assistant for the Centre for Responsible Banking and Finance at the University of St Andrews on PRI Academic Network projects.

  • Anastasia Guha

    Anastasia Guha, Events and Communications Manager

    Anastasia Guha is the Events and Communications Manager at PRI. She is responsible for the PRI in Person annual event and all other PRI events globally; she is also part of the team responsible for PRI's marketing and messaging. She holds a BSc in Economics and Applied Statistics (Ferguson College, India) and MA in International Political Economy (Warwick). Previously Anastasia has worked on events and communications at Euromoney, Institutional Investor and Fidelity International. She has also worked as a features editor for various trade publications including Chambers and Partners and has published articles in the Spectator.

  • Isaac Khurgel

    Isaac Khurgel, Communications Manager

    Isaac Khurgel joined the PRI in January 2012. His responsibilities include ensuring effective marketing and messaging, managing the PRI Initiative’s digital communications channels, and providing internal communications support. Isaac holds an MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and an Honours BA in Political Science from the University of Toronto.

  • Matthew McAdam

    Matthew McAdam, Head of Communications

    Matthew McAdam joined the PRI as Head of Communications in April 2012 and is responsible for managing communications with signatories and the media. Prior to joining PRI, he was Associate Director of Communications at Standard & Poor's in London, where he managed communications and media relations across S&P's credit ratings, indices, equity and fund research businesses over six years. He was also responsible for S&P's media activities in emerging markets, particularly the Middle East and South Africa. Matthew was previously a finance journalist at The Australian Financial Review in Sydney. Matthew completed a Masters in Sustainability Leadership at the University of Cambridge and holds a Bachelor of Communications from Griffith University. He also holds a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia and the UK Investment Management Certificate.
