Paid Internship (Japanese speaker) London

Location: City

Tenure: 12 week fixed term, possibility to extend

Rate of Pay: £10 per hour

PRI requires a fluent Japanese speaker to work with our Tokyo office out of London.  There is no official scope of work for this post – the role is largely working with MS Office suite but does require someone with good general IT competency that will be able to pick up our CRM and intranet systems given some instruction.  If you have an interest in Responsible Investment, are fluent in Japanese and have a degree-level education (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline we’d be interested in hearing from you.  Please send your resume and a cover letter explaining your suitability to our organisation to careers@unpri.org.


Director, Policy & Research

Location: London

As part of its strategy, the PRI Initiative is developing a programme of work around promoting sustainable financial markets through research-backed collaborative projects with PRI signatories, our UN Partners and other international organisations and stakeholders. Implementation Support Project Manager

Signatory Services Officer

Investor Engagements Manager, Environmental

Location: London, City

Tenure: 6 month contract with possibility of extension to permanent

Rate of Pay: £competitive for not-for-profit

This opportunity is within the PRI Investor Engagements team, which is responsible for coordinating collaborative investor engagement activities on environmental, social and governance issues with investee companies and policymakers.

The successful candidate will proactively coordinate and facilitate collaborative engagements among signatories on two key environmental themes, which may include sustainable palm oil, water risk in the food and apparel sector, and / or hydraulic fracturing.

Senior Manager – Asset Owner Insight

The Implementation Support team helps investors put the Principles for Responsible Investment into practice – to move from awareness to impact. We are looking for a team lead with Asset Owner experience to manage Asset Owner focussed work streams.

The objective is to promote and support RI incorporation across all asset classes. To this end, you, together with your team will be responsible for keeping abreast of global asset class practices and developing practice guidance, case studies, event content and be exceptionally active in disseminating RI knowledge to mainstream investors.

Asset Owner focus includes integrating ESG factors into portfolio level considerations, investment selection and monitoring practices and promoting transparency around these types of activity. Team will also be responsible for passive investment management guidance across the signatory base and asset classes.

Senior Manager – Alternative Investments Insight

The Implementation Support team helps investors put the Principles for Responsible Investment into practice – to move from awareness to impact. We are looking for a team lead with Private Equity, Impact Investment and Property experience to manage alternative investments focussed work streams.

The objective is to promote and support RI incorporation – with key focus on Private Equity and Impact Investment. To this end, you, together with your team will be responsible for keeping abreast of global practices and developing practice guidance, case studies, event content and be exceptionally active in disseminating RI knowledge to mainstream investors.

Alternative investment focus covers three assets: private equity, impact investment (Environmentally & Socially Themed) and property. The role will oversee the execution of strategy for these programmes, working closely with established signatory steering committees, working groups and colleagues at PRI.

Success in the role requires a solid understanding of RI practice in these assets, and will involve frequent engagement with investors and other responsible investment initiatives in these areas.
