The PRI Initiative has released two new publications which highlight the innovative use of environmental, social and governance (ESG) information in investment analysis and show how pension funds and other asset owners can incorporate ESG into their selection, appointment and monitoring of investment managers.
Aligning Expectations: Guidance for Asset Owners on incorporating ESG factors into manager selection, appointment and monitoring provides a a framework for asset owners who appoint and monitor external managers to include ESG expectations in requests for proposals, questionnaires, monitoring and discussions with managers.
Integrated Analysis: How investors are addressing environmental, social and governance factors in fundamental equity valuation showcases leading research from brokers and investment managers to demonstrate how investors and analysts are integrating ESG factors into fundamental equity valuation.
