LFI Japan_Integrating sustainability goals across the investment industry

The session will begin with an overview of the report A Legal Framework for Impact authored by Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, and commissioned by The Generation Foundation, PRI and UNEP FI. A presentation of key findings from the legal analysis of Japanese investment regulation will follow. Speakers will then discuss investor purpose, how Japanese investors are currently investing for sustainability impact, and what changes in the regulatory environment would facilitate greater sustainable and inclusive economic growth in Japan. The session will close with a moderated Q&A with the audience.

本セッションでは、まずA Legal Framework for Impact報告書（The Generation Foundation、国連環境計画・金融イニシアティブ（UNEP FI）、及びPRIの委託の元、フレッシュフィールズ・ブルックハウス・デリンガー法律事務所が調査・執筆）の概要について紹介します。加えて、日本の投資市場に関する法的分析について、市場や政策のトレンドを踏まえて報告します。更に、投資家のパーパス、日本の投資家が現在どのようにサステナビリティ・インパクトをもたらす投資を行っているか、そして日本おけるよりサステナブル且つ包摂的な経済成長に向けて期待される政策や市場環境の発展についてゲストスピーカーにお話いただきます。
