September will be a monumental month for climate commitments amongst investors, businesses, policy makers and other stakeholders. With the Paris 2020 climate talks in sight, institutional investors have a critical role to play in accelerating the transition to a low carbon economy.
Building on climate conversations taking place during the Global Climate Action Summit and the annual PRI in Person conference in San Francisco, we invite you to join MSCI, the PRI, and leading practitioners for a breakfast seminar during Climate Week NYC 2018 where we will discuss how leading institutional investors are taking action to achieve the goals of the Paris Agreement.
At this seminar, we will reveal the latest innovations in portfolio-level climate stress testing on various climate scenarios, core elements of the TCFD disclosure recommendations, and reporting on climate risk at the company, fund and portfolio level. Leading institutional investors will then present the climate action their organizations have taken including scaling up low carbon strategies, engagement across the GC100+, and other innovative efforts.
This event is organised by MSCI, in partnership with the PRI.
