Investor Climate Action:  Implementing TCFD and Investing in Low Carbon 

This session will focus on investor action to implement the Paris Agreement, with a focus on TCFD and on low carbon investment.  PRI will provide an update on our TCFD guidance, 2018 investor climate disclosure and a new PRI guide, How to invest in the low carbon transition.  PRI will also brief signatories on PRI collaboration with the Global Climate Action Summit and The Investor Agenda, a new platform to showcase and accelerate investor climate action.  This will be followed by a discussion with investors.

Presentation of the PACTA 2.0 Online Climate Scenario Analysis Tool 

The PRI will provide an overview of climate scenario analysis, followed by a presentation of a new tool for assessing climate risks at the portfolio level.  Developed by 2 Degrees Investing Initiative, this new tool is free-to-use and enables investors to assess their portfolios against multiple climate scenarios.  The tool may assist investors seeking to implement TCFD recommendations on scenario analysis

Active Ownership and the Climate Action 100+ 

Engagement and proxy voting are key tools in investors’ toolbox for addressing climate risks. This session will update on key initiatives led by PRI and its partners, including the Climate Action 100+, and PRI’s Oil and Gas transition risk engagement. Investors will be given an opportunity to discuss these initiatives and understand how they can get further involved.
