PRI Webinar: Modern Slavery - legal compliance and meaningful action

PRI Webinar: Modern Slavery - legal compliance and meaningful action

Join the PRI, the Office of the Independent Anti-Slavery Commissioner, Marks & Spencer and Rathbone Greenbank for an exploration of modern slavery in the supply chain.

The Modern Slavery Act 2015 introduced a new reporting requirement for large companies to publish annual statements explaining how they are addressing modern slavery in supply chains. Meanwhile, other countries have adopted or are in the process of introducing comparable requirements.

There are a number of clear and practical actions which businesses can take to ensure they are addressing modern slavery adequately, from risk-mapping through to remediation.

Hear from a breadth of experts to understand what substantive activity on modern slavery looks like, giving investors specific and practical questions to ask large companies to ensure meaningful action. There will be a series of short presentations from each speaker, followed by a participatory Q&A for those joining the webinar.
