The PRI is currently recruiting members for its Passive Investments Working Group. Interested parties are invited to get in contact by 2 October 2017.

Passive investments have attracted asset owner attention in recent decades. According to Moody’s, they will overtake active management in the US by 2024, with the same trend expected in Europe and Asia.

How asset owners can be active owners for passive investments and how passive investors can actively embrace ESG integration with synthetic lending remains part of a huge debate.

With the contribution of a working group, the PRI aims to release practical guidance to help investors integrate ESG issues in passive investments.

How to get involved

The working group will comprise approximately 6-8 members and will be supported by the PRI. Typical commitments include participating in regular group calls, providing case studies and sharing comments on drafts.

Asset owners, investment managers and service providers interested in being involved should contact Catherine Chen (c[email protected]/ +44 20 7421 5229) by 2 October 2017.
