Pension Fund Association

Pension Fund Association was founded in 1967 as a federation of employees' pension funds, based on the Employees' Pension Insurance Act.
The Association provides pension benefits to those who seceded from employees' pension funds after a short period of membership and undertakes the aggregation of different corporate pension plans.
The Association is also engaged in the secure and efficient management of assets, which serve as financial resources for pension benefits.
In addition, the Association conducts research on matters related to corporate pensions, submits proposals and requests to various quarters concerned, and undertakes a range of support activities for the sound development of member companies.

The value of assets managed by PFA stood at 102 billion US dollars at the end of fiscal Year 2015.
