At PRI, we are constantly striving to better serve our signatories and stakeholders. We have a rich website, filled with best-in-class content for the responsible investment community, and we are making some changes to how access works.
Changes to content access
Within the next few weeks we will be introducing a simple sign-in process for our website. Users browsing more than three exclusive content pages within a calendar month will be required to sign in or register with our site.
Please note that the ‘About us’ and ‘News & Events’ sections of the website will remain accessible to all, so views within that section do not count towards the monthly totals.
Benefits to users
Once a user is signed in to unpri.org, they will notice new functionality that will aid them in how they navigate our site and find their most valued content pieces – improving the experience of our frequent site users. Once creating an account, users will be able to bookmark favourite content and return to find it from any device.
Understanding different users’ content preferences on the website will also help how we serve our signatories and stakeholders. We aim to use the information on content preferences to evolve our content offering – giving different audiences more of the content they prize the most. This is only possible with the help of user registration.
Do I have to pay to access content?
Registration is free and users that don’t wish to register can continue to browse the content that remains accessible to all. The model we will use is similar to the many other websites and apps which are accessible and free to use after a simple registration form. Over 80% of similar sites currently use this type of registration functionality.
What information will I be asked for?
If you are a signatory and already use any of the following PRI platforms, you will not need to create a new registration for the unpri.org site, you can simply use the same log in and password you already have for these:
- Collaboration Platform
- Reporting Tool
- Data Portal
- Permissions System
If you have credentials to one of those sites, but have forgotten your password, please click on the ‘forgot my password’ link on the register page. Don’t worry, if you are not sure whether you already have an account, you can simply enter your email address and the system will prompt you.
Website users that do not have credentials for any of those platforms will be asked for their name, work email address and organisation to create an account. Details about how we manage data can be found in our privacy policy.
