Sustainable Finance Policy Conference 2025

As every year during PRI in Person, the PRI is hosting the annual Sustainable Finance Policy Conference. This unique event convenes policy makers, regulators, regulatory affairs professionals and investors from around the world to discuss and debate the latest developments in sustainable finance policy reform in key capital markets.

This year, the policy conference will include sessions on: 

• Advancing the interoperability imperative 
  What efforts are underway to support collaboration and collective problem-solving among regulators and policy makers? How are policy makers considering the streamlining of compliance across markets more broadly? What are the concrete steps that regulators across jurisdictions can take to ensure practical interoperability is implemented? 

• Regulatory collaboration in Brazil to advance the economic transition
  As we launch the Brazil Sustainable Finance Roadmap, contributors to this policy report will join a panel discussion to highlight their plans to implement priority recommendations. The focus will be on both financial policy and real economy policy measures to reinforce an enabling environment for sustainable investment in Brazil. 

• Policy reforms to address systemic-level risks of inequality and nature degradation 
  Investors and policy makers across both developed and developing economies have a mutual interest in the long-term stability and resilience of the financial system. How are they working together to increase understanding of systemic-level issues and build capacity to invest in outcomes that reinforce long term value creation? How are they developing these relationships and what can we learn about the policymaking process as it evolves to support the economic transition?
