As every year during PRI in Person, the PRI is hosting the annual Sustainable Finance Policy Conference. This unique event convenes policy makers, regulators, regulatory affairs professionals and investors from around the world to discuss and debate the latest developments in sustainable finance policy reform in key capital markets.

A representative from Banco Central do Brasil will present the institution’s vision and role in the country’s economic transition
09:20  Panel: Brazil Sustainable Finance Roadmap report
As we launch the Brazil Sustainable Finance Roadmap report, regulatory contributors will join us to discuss collaborative efforts to advance the economic transition. The focus will be on both financial policy and real economy policy measures to reinforce an enabling environment for sustainable investment in Brazil.
10:00 Panel: Advancing the interoperability imperative
During this session, panellists will explore interjurisdictional efforts to support collective problem-solving among regulators and policy makers. The conversation will cover considerations for streamlining compliance across markets, steps that regulators can take to ensure the practical interoperability of policy measures and potential benefits and consequences for investors pursuing sustainability goals.

11:15  Panel & table discussions: Policy reforms to address systemic risks of inequality and nature degradation
Investors and policy makers across both developed and developing economies have a mutual interest in the long-term stability and resilience of the financial system. Panellists will demonstrate how they work together to increase understanding and build capacity to invest in transition outcomes in support of long-term value creation. This panel will be followed by table discussions on practical engagement with policy makers.
