The PRI wants to encourage an active dialogue between signatories and the Board. The Signatory General Meeting (SGM), the annual general meeting of signatories, is an important online forum for communication between the Board, Executive and signatories. The Board encourages signatory participation.
The SGM is an opportunity for the Board to report to signatories on the PRI’s strategy and its implementation; the work undertaken by the Board and its committees; forthcoming Board elections; any formal consultations or non-binding resolution results; and any other ordinary and special business.
SGM 2025
The SGM is an online event, and to accommodate the PRI’s global signatory base there will be two SGMs held on 21 October 2025 at 08:00 – 09:30 BST and 17:00 – 18:30 BST. Also recording of the meetings will be available online for signatories who are not able to attend.
At the 2025 SGM the PRI Board and Executive will:
- Report on the implementation of the PRI’s strategy;
- Report on the work of the Board and committees during the previous year; and
- Announce the 2025 PRI Board election candidates.
A more detailed SGM agenda will be published by 21 September.
Proposed agenda items
The Board encourages signatories to participate actively in all areas of PRI governance. Signatories are invited to propose agenda items to the SGM for discussion via email to [email protected] by 21 August. The Board will consider all agenda items proposed. A proposal for an agenda item which is supported by five or more signatories will be included in the agenda.
Ask a question
Signatories can ask questions in advance and will also be able to post questions live during the meetings. We will allocate time in the meetings for signatory questions.
The Chair and the PRI Executive Team will aim to answer all questions in the meetings in the allocated Q&A time. If we are unable to answer a question due to time constraints, we will provide an answer to the signatory after the meeting and post answers on the PRI website.
Please submit your question(s) via email to [email protected]. The deadline to submit questions in advance is 14 October.
