Headlined by PRI’s CEO David Atkin and other executive members, the gathering will convene senior representatives of the responsible investment community and showcase high-impact conversations on investor action on climate and nature as well as climate policy priorities during a pivotal moment for the transition to a resilient, low carbon economy. The event will also platform PRI’s key objectives in the lead-up to COP30 as well as climate and nature investment opportunities in emerging economies.

This opening session will delve into PRI’s three key objectives in the road to COP30: Support an enabling policy environment for responsible investment, demonstrate investor ambition on net zero, nature and climate adaptation, including capital mobilisation to emerging market and developing economies in the lead-up to PRI in Person in São Paulo, Brazil.

The session will aim to bring a multidimensional lens to the conversation and touch on both how the risk is being assessed, underpinned by research and data, and how investors are identifying opportunities for investments in solutions.
