The PRI is looking forward to welcoming over 1,200 participants at PRI in Person in San Francisco, with climate change a hot topic.
The PRI is contributing towards the Global Climate Action Summit, expected to be the US’s largest ever climate summit, also in San Francisco. The summit will bring together US states, governments, global companies, investors and civil society to demonstrate that the tide has turned on climate change. The Global Climate Action Summit will feature commitments to reduce emissions and a call to action for governments to enhance ambition to implement the Paris Agreement. The summit will also include a dedicated finance session featuring commitments by leading PRI signatories.
PRI in Person will have a strong focus on investor action on climate change, providing tools and collaboration opportunities for investors to advance in practical implementation for well below 2 degrees. Sessions will cover the TCFD and scenario analysis, climate finance and clean tech, and creating a just transition and decent jobs.
