Service providers can influence the responsible investment activities of investors in many ways as an essential part of the ecosystem. As a PRI signatory, you will have access to our collaborative engagements and networking activities, the latest resources and guidance, and the opportunity to shape the responsible investment landscape through the PRI’s activities.

Service provider members represent one out of the ten board members. Our Governance page takes you through how we are structured, and has more details on your rights as a signatory, and PRI’s Articles of Association.

Examples of Service Provider signatory types are: Asset Consultants, Investment Advisors, Audit / Assurance firms, Brokerage firms, Data Management System Providers, Engagements providers, ESG or RI Reporting, ESG Research among others.

Fees

The PRI is a not for profit organisation and signatory fees and other revenue are spent on delivering value to our diverse signatories, driving responsible investment through opportunities for learning and development, sharing best practices, and collaborative engagement.

The annual signatory fee is pro-rated on signing, and then payable each April. Service provider fees are calculated based on their number of investment staff.

To calculate the number of investment staff at your organisation, please include the following:

  • Investment staff, and
  • Responsible investment/ESG staff at your organisation, and
  • Staff that provide services used by investors. This includes staff who offer investment support services, such as finance or HR, but excludes staff who perform services which aren’t relevant to investors.
