Brazil Climate Investment Week

The PRI is pleased to support the Brazil Climate Investment Week, a joint effort of Converge Capital and Capital for Climate to convene local financial players, business leaders and international investors for a deep dive on investment opportunities related to decarbonization and nature. The purpose of the week is catalyzing investments into Brazil’s climate solutions.

The week will begin with the second edition of Converge Capital Conference on 21 May, which will bring together 400 investors, asset managers, financial market professionals, family offices, business leaders, and entrepreneurs to discuss the opportunities that Brazil has on becoming a global climate solutions powerhouse, as well as the conditions that are needed to unlock private investments and accelerate its allocation on climate solutions.

On 22 May, the second edition of Nature-based Solutions Investment Summit will take place including sessions with leading experts on the economic policy context, regulatory drivers, risk management and blended finance in NbS and will feature presentations by 25+ of Brazil’s top NbS investment funds, developers and enterprises representing a variety of solutions and asset classes. The summit will offer networking and dealmaking opportunities to attendees who are looking to invest in Climate and Nature-based Solutions.

From 23 May onwards, investors will have the opportunity to join Capital for Climate on curated site visits to see examples of NbS projects and companies in the field.
